I spent a wonderful weekend in the eastern Sierra Nevada and I took a few pictures to share with you world. This is the Hope Valley and it is going to be even more beautiful in a few weeks after the first frost colors all of the aspen trees red, orange and yellow.
So now in this time before the snow flies, Monarchs are still eating nectar and the Northern Rubber Boas (pictures didn’t come out) are still above ground for a little while.
We caught rainbow, brook and brown trout, heard rumors of bears and fought off the meat bees with a homemade trap.
A great trip!
